On the Needles:(0:32)

Jasmin is excited about her knitting! She loves fair isle. She is test knitting a hat with snowflakes, and Rex has requested one, too.  And Genevieve has requested a sweater to go with the sweater as well. Jasmin mentions gradient kits from Black Trillium.

Jasmin is test knitting the Frosted Top for Lisa Ross out of Lisa Souza Supersport.

 

She picked up the Baa-ble hat.

 

Gigi finished knitting her shawl from the Knitalong! This is a design from Romi Hill with yarn from Lorna's Laces  String Quintet kit. It is the #3PartHarmonyKal!. You can find details in our ravelry thread. Gigi is looking for a new project to knit. Planning to knit Stephen West’s new updated garterstitch daybreak, called the Purlbreak , in a color gradient  from Oink Pigments, with a neutral background color.  

 

Gigi finished the last bit of weaving in of ends of the Sidewalk Sweater.

 

And Genevieve tried on the Mini Water's Edge cardigan.

 

Gigi had found some finished blanket square that need to be blocked to a ten inch size . The Knitmores are trying to figure out an efficient system for blocking lots of squares.

Genevieve tried on the Girl's Victorian coat.

The buttons are catching on the fabric, and we need to come up with a solution.

Jasmin is working on Baa-ble hats for the kids.

 

Gigi excavated in Area 51 and found a red pre ravelry project to finish.

Finished weaving in all the ends on Mishke cardigan, which now needs to be blocked

Gigi finished three Barley hats out of Alpenglow Yarn .

Gigi was making Pops out of Tess yarn for the Pop blanket. So far done:

The neon green, yellow, tomato red, orange, petroleum blue, dark lavender and sapphire blue are done.  She was working on teal. Two more colors are left. She ran out of background grey. (This project is on hold until we get more yarn.)

Gigi started weaving in ends. 4 ends per piece..

 

Sam asked for a hat to match his beard.The yarn is Alto From Abstract Fiber,

in the Bumble pattern.

Jasmin is making good progress on her Vanilla is the New Black socks in Knitmona "Creepy Crawlers" self-striping. Gigi cast on a  pair of Vanilla is the New Black out of Regia in an ombre stripe on Sock Rockets.

 

Gigi is knitting a Barley hat out of Alpenglow Yarn . Sam asked for a hat to match his beard and we are looking for the right yarn. Gigi finished another shark colored baby hat in Shark's colors.

Jasmin pulled out a sweater out of the UFO area, the Little Pole, which she is knitting on Knitters Pride Zing Needles. Gigi mentions the Knitters Pride Nova needles. And Jasmin loves their color coded cables.

When Knitting Attacks:(35:44)

Gigi messed up the #3partharmonyKAL. Purling on a knit row. Tink!

 

Also, she ran short of main color, and had to leave out last three rows before bind off. She  had to tink back the bind off row.

 

Jasmin found that she should administer fish oil pills AFTER knitting.

 

Gigi blocked her giant Aeolian shawl.  she looked at finished projects on ravelry and decided to block it with 5 points. She used blocking wires. Stretched it as far as she could. The shawl did not cooperate with having each tip blocked into 5 points

 

She had started a U turn sock out of Patons Kroy.  Yarn needed a plainer pattern. Frogged!

Jasmin finished the all you need is hat, and the eye searing pink set is done. She likes the Likke Needles for working with splitty yarn.

 

Gigi frogged a started hat, and reknitted it. Won yarn chicken !

Sam asked for a knitted hat for the winter.

Gigi just finished the first set of chart B

 

Jasmin has finished the Hearthstone pullover by Ysolda Teague, and is about to cast on the All You Need is Hat hat in the leftover yarn.

 

Gigi cast on a pair of vanilla socks out of Regia on Sock Rockets.

 

Jasmin has sewn labels into her Resistance Hat, Rex’s Lionheart pullover, and the grosgrain ribbon into Rex’s Sideways Dude cardigan. Labels by Sterling Labels.
