Gigi finally found the Carli cardigan and the zipper. She put it on the dress form and pinned the zipper in place, and then decided to machine sew Jasmin did her first bit of visible mending on a comforter, and sewed her Sterling labels into some of her finished knits.

When Knitting Attacks: (28:04) Gigi thought she had figured out bead placement on the French Cancan. She didn’t like beads in the chain of knitted stitches next to the lace. Gigi swatched for a fade cowl, then she swatched again with fingering yarn, because she had pulled out the first fingering swatch, put the needles away and not taken notes. She repeatedly pulled out the toe decreases for a VITNB sock.

She was talking on Zoom, not paying attention, and messed up the heel turn. Gigi is wrestling with the bead placement in the lace pattern for the French Cancan

And Sew On:(34:30) Gigi is sewing a UFO, a white on black toile print. It is a flared skirt with lining. Last week, she sewed the zipper, center back seam, hemmed lining, serged bottom of hem, and pressed hems. This week she pinned skirt and lining together, sewed lining and skirt together, and pressed.
She also worked on the postage stamp project. She finished the last bit of quilting, attached a zipper and sewed the edges together.
